It’s dead. Yeah, really. Wanna know why?
Let’s start by looking into what true will power was really about…
In it’s glory days, will-power was the driving force that humans used to accomplish and achieve some of the biggest and most powerful feats of strength. It was a quality that only some possessed and one that some only wished to have. It’s a measure of mental clarity that many feel they will never attain and judge themselves for not having. Will-power seems to many to be an out-of-reach quality of mental stick-to-it-ness that most of the world simply cannot understand enough to exemplify.
For those who have learned to master will-power, success comes through hard work, sacrifice and complete commitment. They learn how to breakthrough all obstacles, with bumps and bruises if necessary, in order to reach their goals.
Will power was a function of pushing and fighting “against” the struggles of life. It was developed to keep us focused despite all odds and served it’s functions for the time it was alive. But…the time has come for a revolution in thought.
Will-power in the old paradigm is based on past beliefs, creating a fight because you judge current issues with the experiences of your past. If you have suffered in the past, you’ll push through the next situation with armor you forged in your past trauma. Your armor becomes your identity and therefore a trap of illusory fear-based choices.
This is an example of tainted “free will” as we are not making actively conscious choices in the moment. Our choices are the reflection of our past.
Will-power as an applied energy in this state can be a battlefield if you are not consciously creating the experience. By muscling through the obstacle you have an extremely high potential of not seeing the whole picture and instead seeing only what you must fight against therefore pushing and forcing your way to success. It should really be called “will-force” rather than power as it really depletes your personal power.
Without will-power, what will we do to stay strong and focused on our goals?
Truth. Be truth.
We have an innate ability to tap into Divine Consciousness but, as humans are conditioned to see only what’s true in “physical form,” we somewhat disconnect from this powerful library of wisdom. This infinite consciousness contains all the answers to achieve goals and desires in life. Will-power, when used without conscious intention, will prevent us from seeing the infinite potential we have access to. Seeking your deepest, highest truth rather than jumping straight into will-power brings us in alignment with this infinite intelligence and shows us an easier way to accomplish the goal.
Truth is: you are an infinite being capable of creating abundance, bliss, and unconditional love. You are a spiritual being, having a human experience.
So why, if you are an infinite being, would you choose the one-way methods of applying will-power when you could be creating a different path? Why would you choose to push through a brick wall when you could simply dissolve it or remove it with ease and grace?
If you want to be known as the one who always pushed through and fights for what you have, then go ahead and keep going with “will-force” to make reactive choices. But if you want to create a more abundant flow in all you do, give yourself permission to see your infinite self with infinite potential realities then choose to take action with conscious intention.
