Do you ever feel like life is getting in the way of your success? It’s as though your efforts to change, grow or create success seem to be overshadowed by the throws of work stress and time commitments.

Nothing gets done. Dreams go unattained. Hope feels lost.

But WHY? Why is it that we let our dreams stand to the side while we suffer through the same old routine we’ve come to know so well?

Courage. We lack it. We fear it. We have NO clue what it truly means.

Courage, like many higher self qualities, is a by-product of three things:

1- being crystal clear on your desired outcome

2- having the will to be vulnerable enough to face every belief working against you

3- developing a level of integrity so strong that your values become YOU

Courage is not something you just wake up one day and “have.” No, it’s a progressively developed characteristic that represents countless hours of sticking to one’s goals, unconditionally devoted mental space for the trials and tribulations of one’s path to achievement, and a passion so strong that the heart becomes unwavering in its pursuit of excellence.

These traits can NOT be attained with fear or self doubt present. In fact, when you see people who are guarded or wearing a preverbal suit of armor to protect themselves, you will find they are hiding a great deal of fear masked as courage. Not courage in truth, but survival mode in action, at best.

When we fake the funk with courage, we create more suffering and attract more things to validate our fears simply because we are too afraid to look at or own the fact that we are the creators of our own reality.

Real courage is a standard whereby we have faced our fears, allowed ourselves to be vulnerable, taking on the challenge of dissolving beliefs about limits, and created a new way of being that flows in and with integrity.

Imagine what would happen in your life if, instead of feeding yourself limited beliefs and suffering thoughts each morning, you fed yourself a big bowl of courage! If your morning was spent working through your mental obstacles and overcoming fears, your day would present itself very differently.

Today, and every day, seek to let go of and eliminate your fears. Get right with yourself by taking action to overcome the things you believe have power over you. Make a commitment to dissolve the illusions of your mind and seek value in knowing YOU are in charge of your destiny.

This is how you BECOME who your future needs you to be.
